Description: Man's kimono of finely striped bashofu (banana fibre). The stripes follow a sequence of 4 ends of natural coloured fibre to 2 ends of soft brown. Shortened at some stage, and a square patch of fabric (33 x 29 cm) has been attached on the inside to strengthen the 'seat' area. The shoulder only is lined.

説明:細かい縞模様の芭蕉布を使った男性の着物。縞は、天然色の芭蕉糸4本に茶色の芭蕉糸2本の繰り返し。内側に正方形の布(33×29cm)を貼り付けて「座」の部分を補強している。
